I’m not sure how old I was, but I can still vividly remember straining my eyes across several rows to watch a movie from a tiny monitor on board our United Airlines flight. We were traveling to Australia. And even though the conditions on board weren’t ideal back then… I loved flying. I loved traveling. And I was incredibly excited about all the adventures waiting for me.

I was born in Melbourne, Australia and moved to Texas when I was seven. With an Australian father and an American mother, I traveled extensively between the two countries growing up. Shortly after graduating from the University of Texas, I moved to Sydney, Australia, and lived there for four years. The experience helped me see life from a different perspective. I loved how Australians focused on embracing the moment and enjoying life.

That mindset led me to travel extensively with my Aussie husband and later with my two boys as a family of four. I’ve explored many areas in the Asia Pacific region and traveled extensively in Europe. We’ve also enjoyed many trips to Mexico and the Caribbean to relax and unwind.
